Masuko Duncan, age 94, of Harrisburg, passed away at 5:35 PM, February 8, 2021 at Harrisburg Medical Center.
Masuko was born on December 17, 1926 in Fukuoka City, Japan. She married Donald L. Duncan in December of 1954 in Japan. After Masuko and Donald married they moved to the United States in October of 1956. Donald preceded her in death in April of 2014. Masuko was a homemaker and a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She so enjoyed spending time with family and she lived a full and long life up to her passing. We were blessed to have her in our life so many years and she will be greatly missed.
Masuko is survived by two children, son, Wade Duncan II and wife Mindy of Rotonda West, Florida; and daughter, Donna Pinkston and husband Bill of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Sara Beth Johnson and husband Jeremy of Rochester; Kent Duncan of Giant City; Megan Duncan of Stonefort; Shane Teas and wife Lindsey of Goreville; Morgan Teas of Murphysboro; Matt Pinkston of Harrisburg, and Jason Pinkston of Harrisburg; ten great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jim Coker of Arlington, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Donald, Masuko was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Barbara Coker.
