Our lives are forever changed with his passing and will never be quite the same ever again.
George was our family Mr. Fix It; he could and would do anything and everything as needed.  He was the original owner of Classic Crafters and loved spending as much time at the shop as allowed. In his younger years he loved playing softball.  He worked in the coal mines most of his life and always enjoyed going to work until he was forced to retire when Sahara shut down.
George was preceded in death by his mom and dad; siblings, Glendale Owen, Tommy Owen, Wendy Owen, Velma Sittig, Francis Cletcher, Sue Cunningham and Patsy Owen.
Private services will be held, Chris Wilson will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Army, American Legion, Sons of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Memorial contributions in memory of George may be made to the Veteran’s Memorial Preservation Fund and left at Reed Funeral Chapel.
