Linda “Lynn” Lee Johnson, age 68, of Harrisburg, passed away at 12:05 PM, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Lynn was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 6, 1952 to Raymond and Jane (Bellow) Sittner. On November 18, 1980 she married Ron Johnson and he preceded her in death on February 3, 2006. She was a member of Little Chapel Church where she served as the receptionist. Lynn was a member of Rejoice and Renew. She loved flowers, gardening and basket weaving. She was very loving and patient with her family. Lynn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her relationship with the Lord was apparent to all who knew her.
Lynn is survived by four children, daughter, Stephanie Langley of Galatia; daughter, Abby Dinn and husband, Mike of West Frankfort; daughter, Barbie Abraham and husband, Dean of Muddy; son, Johnnie Stoffel of Galatia. 9 grandchildren; Ryan Langley and wife, Lauren of Thompsonville, Jordon Langley of Galatia, David Morris of Marion, Luke Morris and fiancé, Whitney Lane of West Frankfort, Andy Morris of Carlinville, IL, Triston Abraham of Muddy, Nathan Abraham and fiancé, Madison Mathews of Muddy; Bailey Abraham of Muddy and Karli Jackson and husband, Taylor of Harrisburg, 4 great-grandchildren; Evie Sue Langley, Oliver Langley, Parker Jackson and Steeli Jackson and baby Abraham on the way; brother, Ray Sittner and wife, Lori of Lombard; nephew, Brad Sittner and niece, Brook Flynn and husband, Tim.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services for Lynn Johnson will be held at 10 AM, Monday, May 3, 2021 at Little Chapel Church in Raleigh. Rev. T.W. Norman will officiate and burial will follow in Durham Cemetery in Galatia. Visitation will be held from 3 PM until 6 PM, Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Little Chapel Church. Memorials may be made in Lynn’s honor to The Mission (themissioninc.org). Envelopes will also be available at the church and funeral home.
