Judith Louise Black, age 72, was welcomed into the arms of our savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020 at 4:10 am at her residence surrounded by her family.
Judi was born on November 24th, 1948 in McLeansboro, Illinois to the late Walter and Pauline (Waud) Stovall. On April 17th, 1994, she married Ken Black and he survives. She was a devout Christian and during this Christmas season, much like we celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ, we will be celebrating her entrance into heaven and a reunion with her parents and other loved ones. She was also an excellent cook and enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, crafts, making flower arrangements, helping her grandchildren decorate for Christmas and was always up for a trip to shop at Hobby Lobby. However, she really loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Judi is survived by her children: Kari (Tim) Lane, Brad (Sandy) Payne, Shad (Diane) Payne, Cheree (Eric) Witges, Debbie (Denzil) Hughes, Lisa (David) McBride, JJ Naas; her grandchildren: Casey Lane, Leland Lane, Tari Lane, Alyssa (Gabe) Oglesby, Krysta Payne, Colby (Jaci) Payne, Tristen Payne, Trenton Payne, Bridget Payne (fiance Clay Boulds), Easton Witges, Lindsey (Neal) Atkins, Hannah (Travis) Dixon, Capel Henshaw, Trenton Hughes, Garrett McBride, Hallie McBride, Jackson Naas, Jenkin Naas and Jensen Naas; and 12 great grandchildren.
Judi is survived by her husband, Ken Black and her siblings: Beverly Dilges, Brenda (Alan) Gillison and Jim (Sue) Stovall.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pauline Stovall and Ken’s son, Stephen Black.
