Obituary

     Edith Feazel, age 89, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 3:10 PM at Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg, surrounded by her family.

     Edith was born on April 17, 1932, in Harrisburg, to the late James Hubert and Eulah Icle (Morris) Feazel.  She was a homemaker and never married.

     Edith is survived by her siblings, sister, Mary Byron of Harrisburg; sister, Delores Underwood of Harrisburg; sister, Clara “June” Poole of Galatia; brother, James Feazel, Jr. and wife, Donna of Whitmore Lake, Michigan; sister, Donna Wysocki and husband, Ron of Raleigh; and sister, Marsha Kuppart and husband, John of Harrisburg; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

     Edith was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Oliver and Evie (Slaton) Feazel; maternal grandparents, Ulysses and Mary Ann (Hudgins) Morris; brother, Herbert Junior Feazel; sister, Patricia Ann Feazel, brother-in-law, Glendal Poole, brother-in-law, George Byron and brother-in-law, Glen Underwood.

     Funeral services for Edith Feazel will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Reed Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Blake Clayton will officiate and burial will follow at Big Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10 AM at Reed Funeral Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
