Connie Jo (Rector) Trammel passed away peacefully at Eldorado Rehab and Health Care on April 11, 2022. Connie was a devout Christian who spent her life sharing Jesus with as many people as possible so she could see them in Heaven.
Connie was born September 4, 1938 to Clifford and Kathleen Rector. Connie is survived by her five children, Cathy (Carroll) Keltner, Joel (Kathy) Stanley, Jan (Chris) Schimp, Melissa (Allen) Roby, and Lendell Trammel, Jr.; 15 grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah) Keltner, Nicholas Keltner, Brandi (John) Gunning, Adam (Ashtyn) Stanley, Liza (Michael) King, Ryan (Megan) Schimp, Luke (Paige) Schimp, Gabe (Brooke) Schimp, Teri (Ronnie) Casper, Jonathan Powell, Clay (Andrea) Roby, Brandon (Sydney) Trammel, Darian (Paul David) Hughes, Colten Trammel, and Elise Trammel; 21 great grandchildren, Creed Keltner, Sage Keltner, Cade Keltner, Griffin Thomas, Emersyn Stanley, Easton Cummins, Presli King, Peyton King, Deacon King, Nora Schimp, Nate Schimp, Lane Schimp, Bailey Schimp, Madison Schimp, Caseton Schimp, Logan Schimp, Jolee Porter, Avree Porter, Kaydee Porter, Everett Roby and Ava Rose Roby.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Lendell Trammel, her two brothers, Jimmy Joe Rector, Nick Rector, and her parents, Clifford and Kathleen Rector.
Connie was a long-time member of both Dorrisville Baptist Church and Little Chapel Church. She felt that all members of her church homes were family as well.
Private graveside services were held on April 12, 2022 at Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Jerry Alexander officiated. Memorials may be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
